So my name is Trina Wu, and I currently work at Medica as a Human Resources Coordinator. So what I do through that is I help the recruiters with the onboarding process, process new hire paperwork including I9 forms that need verified. In addition I help with scheduling interviews both onsite for internal and external candidates as well as other projects that the Human Resources Project Manager might come up with as business needs arise. Well I always start on Mondays we usually do our orientation so that's when our new hire orientation is. I help out with Mondays would involve running those orientation sessions, making sure that the I9's are processed and that the paperwork is completed. So the rest of the week I'll be doing other tasks such as scheduling interviews for candidates, again some weeks are heavier than others depending on what season we're in. I might also be creating new requisitions in our applicant tracking system as well, creating requisition folders for that and keeping track of all those paperwork. So what usually happens is that a recruiter would send me a ticket or forward me one of their tickets through our system, and then I would go into our applicant tracking system, create the requisition, and send it as a draft to the recruiter, and from there the recruiter would take it further and talk to the hiring manager to get the extra information that they would need to complete that requisition before posting it. When I schedule interviews I reach out to the candidates and I reach out to usually the hiring managers or their administrators to get their availabilities and schedule the interview, and then so the recruiter takes on from that process and then I come back in towards the end of the process by helping them, by creating offer letters in our system and sending them out and just making sure that those steps are taken care of and helping the other coordinators with background checks and running those.
