>> My name is Elizabeth Boatwright and I'm based in Scottsdale, Arizona. I currently work for YELP which is the internet search online advertising and my main focus is college recruiting. So I actually get to travel to college campuses and talk with seniors interested in a career in sales. Extensive travel September and October and January through March but my job is really three parts, so I break it down into the basic function of recruiting, actually meeting a candidate, talking to them about the opportunity and taking them through the internal process of interviewing. So I manage candidates and then the second part of my daily responsibility is actually contacting people at universities so that means advisors, career service staff, faculty advisors for student organizations, student works as well, making sure that colleges across the nation Know that YELP is hiring. When I go on campus I collect resumes. From there it is a simple follow up phone call with a candidate, and talking about their interest in the role. One of our main priorities in hiring is being extremely transparent, so as a college recruiter I want to make sure that the candidate knows exactly what the position is, what the development program is and what the benefits and salary are.
