Business Analyst

>> My name is Meeten Doshi [assumed spelling] and I'm a class of 2015 graduate of Penn State. And, I work for JP Morgan Chase in Wilmington, Delaware, and, as a business analyst. So, a lot of what I am doing right now is on big data analytics and reporting and analyzing the trends and the data. And so, a lot of the reports that we create go to the CEO and his operating committee for them to, you know, decide, create a strategic plan or strategy for the year, for the quarter, for the, for two years, whatever the case may be. So, the one thing I'm doing right now is around figuring out or analyzing data for a future forecasted headcount forecast. And, then, our trends from 2015 and 2016 to analyze and figure out how many more analysts we want to bring in next year from college campuses. So, figuring out, like, do you want to increase our count from last year? Do you want to decrease our count or do you want to stay the same? Whatever the case may be. And, so, what I'm doing right now is creating an algorithm to, that looks at the trend in the future, that looks at the past or that looks in the forecast for the future and then that looks at the trend for the past, and brings it together to come up with a solution and a number. And then, figuring out where to place them region wise. So, do they go in India, Singapore, China, England or, you know, Scotland or whatever the case is, or in the U.S.
